Notes (in order of delivery):
8 DEC 2019: Database connection re-established. Links now populate (still not working yet. Soon!)
6 DEC 2019: Database connection established. Utilizing a few extra resources connected to Vue.js to help with routing and such. Hopefully everything else will be developed in-house (a small side-step from utilizing just server-side language of PHP whereas everything was developed in-house.)
1 DEC 2019: Really building up speed now. Navigation links from Vue.js (still no functionality however.) Sleeping now until around 9:00 pm. A whole lot accomplished today. #OneStepForward :) Not sure if it should be said now or not, but did you know that current estimates say that if you use a dark background or choose "dark mode" on your devices you will consume easily 20% to the upper 30%'s less energy in web surfing...which is the main contributing factor to us developing the "dark mode" terminal style first? Web search for something along "less power consumption in dark mode" and you'll find a lot of handy tips! A handy reference link... DuckDuckGo link
1 DEC 2019: None of these functions/links are working at the moment and so we're sorry for any confusion. Going forward...the goal is to hopefully get a system like a "new age terminal setup" whereas every piece of the website is housed in its' own box.
1 DEC 2019 (Prior): Right now I think the best explanation to the end design would be where all pages will have the same layout, top left "box" will have title & major category (news, member area etc.), middle will have current date/time and any notifications and the top right box will be title with any description (if needed.) The page then will have a left vertical bar for any additional menus if needed as well as the "body" of the document.
1 DEC 2019 (Prior): The end goal is to have a system built around basically using a tablet and able to do all the things on the tablet in real time. So you could be writing on the forum and get a private message notification in the top middle "box" and continue working. Maybe you're following a topic in the forum and working on writing up a nice article. You'll receive an update in the notification area while you're writing.
1 DEC 2019 (Prior): Using the hopeful terminal layout will allow everything to be kept on one page and no additional clicks needed except to get whatever new information comes about.
1 DEC 2019 (Prior): I have been approved for a "3 day weekend" first weekend at work in December and so will definitely finish the initial version "1.0" of the new tigerMetro at that time.
